Sierra Bible Camp

     Letter to the Directors

June 14, 2006

The board wishes you a wonderful successful summer camp. Many hands have gone into this year’s preparations to get camp ready for you, so that God’s word can be shared with children.

Please print two copies of the contract. A representative of the Trustees will signed both copies. It is imperative that you:

1)     Sign and mail back one copy to Jay Pitts.  Keep one for your records.

2)     For records that the Forest Service requires it is imperative that you return the History of the Camp Session data sheet. We do not want to lose the new long-term lease we now have.

Camp fees have been raised to $6,200. The major reason for the increase is the loss of one more camp session.  We have gone from ten camp weeks to eight.  Of course increase costs and losses add to the overall cost of operation.

Three major projects are still in need of funding: staff beds, the pool repairs, plus we’ve needed to repair girl’s cabin 3 after the tree fell on it this winter. If you or an individual in your congregation can assist in funding these major projects please contact Jay Pitts/treasurer or an SBC board member.
