SIERRA BIBLE CAMP BOARD MEETING

3. Notification of the Board that President W. Evans appointed Jay Pitts as interim treasurer.
The bank account signature card was signed by Jay and Larry McC.
Walt requests that Jay continue as treasurer until the September meeting when re-election of corporate officers is scheduled.
Jay has agreed to cover the upcoming camping season.

OLD BUSINESS:
1. Update regarding the cost of the umbrella coverage for the board of trustees;
2. Update on the pool project—Mike V.
3. USFS, Peggy Gustafson, has said they will send someone to the camp regarding the big pine tree as soon as the snow is gone.
4. Mike has purchased the needed pool supplies for 2006;
5. We plan to go forward with the floor covering for the caretaker’s cabin as soon as we can gain access; there is about four feet of snow on the ground.
6. I do not recall offering to assign sports equipment purchases for each camp. However, I do know we have a lot of duplication..
It seems that tether balls and ropes go quickly.

1. Alice and Gerry would like to have a new queen mattress and box spring.

2. Keith Crummer and I have had two conversations regarding contacting Lois Charlton.. She has handled land exchanges for USFS in the past.
She is going to let me know when she can meet. New article in the paper stating USFS is selling off land they do not plan to use.
3. We will need a walk through before work weekend and decide if there are any maintenance issues that have to be taken care of.
